Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. One-time digital products (Starter Kit $27, Country Finder $29)
We want you to find real value in these products. If you're not satisfied:
- Starter Kit ($27): request a refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email theexpatmath@gmail.com with your order confirmation.
- Country Finder ($29): if your personalized report doesn't name at least one country you'd seriously consider, email theexpatmath@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your report for a full refund.
Because these are digital products delivered instantly or within 24 hours, refunds are handled case-by-case rather than through an automated return process. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days.
2. Community membership (currently a free founding waitlist)
The Community is currently in founding-waitlist mode: joining costs $0 today, and no payment method is collected. The terms below describe what will apply once paid membership opens.
Before you subscribe, here's what you need to know:
- You will be charged $12.00 USD every month (your locked-in founding rate) starting on the date you subscribe, and on the same date each following month, until you cancel.
- This is a recurring, auto-renewing subscription. It will continue to renew automatically; we will not ask for your approval before each renewal charge.
- You can cancel at any time by emailing theexpatmath@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. (A one-click self-service option is coming; for now a quick email does it.)
- If you cancel, you'll retain access through the end of the period you already paid for; we don't provide prorated refunds for partial months.
- “Founding member” pricing is locked in for as long as your subscription stays active without a cancellation gap. If you cancel and resubscribe later, you'll be charged the then-current price.
3. How to request a refund or cancel
Email theexpatmath@gmail.com with your order confirmation or the email address you used to purchase/subscribe. That's also how you'll cancel the community subscription once paid membership opens, per §2 above.
4. Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first at theexpatmath@gmail.com. We're generally able to resolve refund requests faster directly than through a bank dispute.
